Everything you need to know before you rent
If you are renting a dumpster for the first time, you probably have the same dozen questions everyone does: what it costs, what size, whether you need a permit, and what you cannot throw in. Whether you are a homeowner clearing a garage in Bentonville, a property manager turning over a rental in Rogers or a contractor running a job in Springdale, the answers below are the ones we give on the phone every day. If yours is not here, call (479) 364-6745 — a real person on our local team will answer it.
Part 1
Pricing

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Bentonville, AR?
Dumpster rental prices typically range from $350 to $750, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. We offer flat-rate pricing: delivery, pickup and disposal are all included in your quote, with no hidden fees. Every quote includes a weight allowance — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard, 2 to 3 on a 15, 3 to 4 on a 20, 4 to 5 on a 30 and 5 to 6 on a 40. The cost guide explains what moves the number.
Is delivery and pickup included in the price?
Yes. Delivery, pickup and disposal are all included in your quote, along with the standard rental period. No hidden fees, and no hidden fuel surcharges or environmental fees.
What causes extra charges?
Two things: going over the included weight, where we weigh the container and an overage fee applies, and keeping the container past the rental period, which carries a small daily or weekly extension fee. We explain both up front so there is nothing to find later.
Do you charge more for heavy materials like concrete or dirt?
Heavy materials use up the included weight fast, which is why they go only in the smaller dumpsters (10 or 15 yards). Keep them separate from household junk unless we have agreed otherwise, and tell us roughly how much there is — we help you stay within the allowance.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. Payment is made when your booking is confirmed to secure your delivery slot, and contractors can ask about PO billing. Where an independent provider handles the rental, billing may be handled by that provider, and we tell you on the call.
Part 2
Sizing
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
What size dumpster do I need?
Think about the project's scale and the material: 10 to 15 yard dumpsters for small cleanups, roofing or concrete; a 20 yard for home remodels and landscaping; 30 to 40 yard for construction, demolition or large cleanouts. Count the job in pickup truck loads — about 3 for a 10, 4 to 5 for a 15, 6 for a 20, 9 for a 30 and 12 for a 40. Weight decides for dense material — see the size guide.
What happens if I order too small?
Too small and you will be calling for another pickup; too big and you have paid for space you do not use. When in doubt, describe the job and let us size it. If your project grows, we can swap your dumpster.
What is the biggest dumpster you offer?
A 40 yard: about 22 ft × 7.5 ft × 8 ft, roughly 12 pickup loads, usually 5 to 6 tons included. It is our largest roll-off container.
How full can I fill it?
Keep everything below the top rim. If it is overfilled, we cannot legally haul it. Even weight distribution helps keep pickup smooth and safe.
Can I rent a dumpster for a roofing job?
Absolutely. Our 10 and 20 yard dumpsters are the ones for roofing shingles, tar paper and underlayment. Shingles are heavy, so tell us about the roof and we estimate the weight before you load. On a building with more than four homes, or a commercial one, Arkansas wants an asbestos inspection before renovation starts (20 CAR § 860-105).
Part 3
Permits, placement and city rules
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
Do I need a permit to have a dumpster delivered?
In Bentonville the first question is who may haul, not a permit. City Code § 42-80 says: "No pickups or hauling of refuse shall be made except by city-owned or authorized vehicles. Authorized vehicles shall be those as to which the owner has a written contract with the city." Homes and businesses use the City's collection service, run by a contractor under a City contract (§ 42-71), and we found no City page on roll-offs or construction debris. So we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking. The permit guide and your city page cover the details.
Can the dumpster go on the street if my driveway will not fit it?
On a Bentonville street, a City right-of-way permit is needed for any work in the public right-of-way (§ 50-721), § 82-120 makes it an offense to obstruct a street, alley or sidewalk, and a truck over three tons may park on a street only while loading or unloading - in residential zones only between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. (§ 94-63). So the driveway comes first. Elsewhere the street rule is written down too: Rogers wants a ROW Use Permit before a dumpster goes in a street, right-of-way or public parking space, with a site plan and a traffic control plan for work in the street; Lowell bars obstructing any street or sidewalk (§ 22-5), so a Lowell container stays on the property; Springdale bars putting refuse or building materials on a street (§ 110-3); Siloam Springs bars obstructing streets and rights-of-way unless the administrator grants a written variance (§ 86-3); and Pea Ridge bars parking trucks over 6,000 lb on any street that is not a marked truck route (§ 8.08.01(E)). Tell us when you book and we plan the placement around it.
Is my road a city street or a state highway?
Not always obvious. I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412, AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 and AR-112 are on the state highway system, and in town AR-12 runs along Walton Boulevard, AR-102 along SE 14th Street and AR-112 along SE J Street. Arkansas law holds state highway right-of-way "inviolate for state highway purposes" and allows no encroachments in it (Ark. Code § 27-67-304), and we found no ArDOT permit for a container, so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412, AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Tell us the address and we check.
Why do your city pages mention hauler licences?
Because Arkansas leaves hauler licensing to the regional solid waste districts, and many cities add their own rule. Hauling solid waste in Benton County takes a hauler licence from the Benton County Regional Solid Waste Management District (8 CAR § 110-603), and the District wants every roll-off a hauler uses to show the business name and phone number in letters at least four inches high on at least two sides (§ 110-612(b)(4)), with open loads tarped above 35 mph (§ 110-612(b)(2)(B)). In Washington County the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District's licence rule applies instead (District Rules § 9.02; tarps above 35 mph, § 9.03(c)). Neither District licence overrides a city's own hauling rules (8 CAR § 110-609(d); § 9.02(f)). On top of that, most cities here control who may haul refuse. Rogers limits commercial hauling to haulers licensed by the City (Ord. 05-130, removed from the code book in 2026 but not repealed); Centerton (§ 5.08) and Cave Springs (§ 52.02) grant exclusive residential franchises, and Cave Springs wants commercial waste providers to have a written agreement with the City first (§ 52.02(F)); Bella Vista requires residents and businesses to use the City-contracted service (§ 22-1(b)); and Little Flock (§ 5.20.01), Pea Ridge (§§ 5.16.08(A), 5.16.10), Highfill (Ord. 2016-07), Springdale (§ 102-2(2)), Siloam Springs (§ 82-37(a)), Gravette (§ 36-22(2)b) and Prairie Grove (§ 5.04.01) each limit hauling to the City, its contractor or haulers it approves. In each of them we check the City's rules before booking. In Gentry, whose code we could not read, we check with City Hall before booking. Tontitown (§§ 53.02, 53.09) and Lincoln (§ 5.20.04(D)) set licence rules, and in Lowell and Decatur we found no exclusive-hauler rule.
Are there hours for delivery and pickup?
Some cities set truck rules. In Bentonville, a truck over three tons may park on a street only while loading or unloading, and in residential zones only between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. (§ 94-63). In Bella Vista no truck or trailer of 1½ tons or more may be parked on a street, right-of-way or residential lot between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. (§ 26-30). The phone is answered around the clock, but we do not promise night or Sunday drop-offs.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
We take every precaution to protect your property, and protective boards can go under the rails on request. If you are worried, you can also lay plywood or boards down before delivery. Keep it off soft ground and grass.
How much space does the truck need?
A flat, solid surface such as a driveway, pad or gravel; room for the container — about 14 feet long for a 10 yard, 16 feet for a 15, and about 22 feet for a 20 and up, all about 7.5 feet wide; about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck to back in; and about 25 feet of clearance overhead, free of power lines and branches. Move cars, trailers and bins before the drop.

How does the dumpster rental process work?
Call (479) 364-6745 and tell us about your project. We help you choose the size, deliver it — usually the same or next day when availability allows — you fill it, and we pick it up once you are done.
How fast can you deliver?
In most areas around Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas we offer same-day or next-day delivery, depending on availability. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day service.
What are your hours?
The phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We do not promise night or Sunday drop-offs.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
The standard rental period is 3 to 7 days, set on your quote. If you need more time, call and we extend it for a small daily or weekly fee. If you finish early, call and we schedule an early pickup.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
No. As long as we know where to place the dumpster and the area is clear of vehicles and obstacles, you do not need to be there.
Can I move the dumpster after it is placed?
Please do not. It is placed where the truck can reach it for pickup. If it needs to go somewhere else, call and we handle it.
Can I book multiple dumpsters at once?
Yes. We rotate containers on long jobs and set up swap-outs and multiple containers for contractors and property managers.
Part 5
Service area
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
Which communities do you serve?
Bentonville and 16 communities around it: Rogers, Centerton, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, Little Flock and Lowell; Pea Ridge, Highfill, Gravette, Decatur, Gentry and Siloam Springs; and Springdale, Tontitown, Lincoln and Prairie Grove — each with its own page. The complete Bentonville guide pulls it together.
Where are you based?
At 2501 SE Otis Corley Dr, Bentonville, AR 72712 — inside the City of Bentonville, Benton County, in the southeast of town near the I-49 corridor.
Is service different in Washington County?
Mostly the rules and the distance. Springdale sits in both Benton and Washington counties, and Tontitown, Lincoln and Prairie Grove are in Washington County, where the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District licenses haulers (District Rules § 9.02). Lincoln, our furthest stop, is approx. 41 road miles from the yard, and Prairie Grove approx. 33, so same-day there depends even more on availability.
Do some cities restrict who can deliver a roll-off?
Most of them do, in one way or another. Bentonville, Pea Ridge and Gravette limit hauling to vehicles whose owner has a written contract with the City; Rogers limits commercial hauling to City-licensed haulers; Centerton and Cave Springs grant exclusive residential franchises; Bella Vista, Little Flock and Highfill tie customers to the City's contracted service; Springdale wants a City contract and licence fee from commercial collectors; and Siloam Springs and Prairie Grove collect themselves unless the City consents in writing. In each of them we check the City's rules before booking, and in Gentry we check with City Hall. Each city page says what that city asks for.

What we take
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
What can I put in a dumpster?
Most household junk, construction debris and yard waste: wood, drywall, tile and flooring; furniture and household junk; yard clippings and branches; roofing shingles; and small appliances. Concrete, brick and dirt go only in the 10 or 15 yard. If you have a question about a specific material, call us before delivery.
What can't go in a dumpster?
We cannot accept paint, solvents or oils, fuel, tires, batteries, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders or propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, or fridges and A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Arkansas law also keeps used lead-acid batteries out of municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)) and whole tires out of landfills unless cut up or shredded (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The what can and cannot go in guide says where each goes instead.
Can asbestos-containing material go in a dumpster?
No — never in ours. For any building other than a residential one with four or fewer dwelling units, Arkansas requires an asbestos inspection before demolition or renovation (20 CAR § 860-105) and written notice ten working days before any demolition (§ 860-201(a)). Homes of four or fewer units are outside that definition (§ 860-104(32)(A)), but asbestos still stays out of our roll-offs.
Can I put concrete, brick or dirt in a dumpster?
Yes, but only in smaller dumpsters (10 or 15 yards). Heavier materials have strict weight limits for safety and transport, and they should not be mixed with household junk without checking with us first.
Can I put a mattress or an old appliance in?
A mattress, yes, and small appliances usually. A fridge, freezer or A/C unit only once the refrigerant has been properly evacuated and the unit tagged; our junk removal crew can take appliances with the Freon removed.
What happens to the debris after pickup?
We work with local recycling and disposal facilities, and whenever possible debris like metal, concrete and yard waste is recycled instead of dumped. The Benton County Solid Waste District says building materials, including construction and demolition materials, must go to a transfer station or landfill, and a licensed hauler may take waste only to a fully permitted facility (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(5)).
