Roll-off dumpster rental in Springdale
Approx. 15 road miles south-southeast of the yard, around 20 minutes.
Springdale is approx. 15 road miles south-southeast of the yard, around 20 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows, once we've checked the City's rules for the job. Springdale is a city of 84,161 at the 2020 Census, in Washington County with part of the city in Benton County.
Springdale splits its trash by volume. Homes and businesses making less than two cubic yards of solid waste a week use the City's residential contractor, which holds the exclusive right to haul it; those making two cubic yards or more contract with a licensed private collector, who must “meet city qualifications, execute a contract with the city, and pay the required license fee pursuant to contract” before taking those customers (§ 102-2(2)). A roll-off is well past two cubic yards, so we check the City's rules before booking.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Springdale
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Under two yards — homes and businesses making less than two cubic yards a week use the City's residential contractor exclusively (§ 102-2(1)).
- Two yards or more — private collectors meet City qualifications, sign a contract with the City and pay the licence fee before serving those customers (§ 102-2(2)).
- Site containment — general contractors provide trash containment of at least five cubic yards with no openings over three inches by the first inspection (§ 102-10).
- Nothing in the street — no refuse or building materials on any street, and no material of any kind without the chief city inspector's permission (§ 110-3).
- Waste trucks in residential zones — commercial vehicles, including any used to transport waste, park in residential districts only while performing a temporary service there (§ 114-56).
- Two districts — the Washington County side is in the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District, the Benton County side in the Benton County District.
What comes out of Springdale properties
The City's residential contractor isn't required to remove debris from repairing, razing or building — that's the owner's, occupant's, tenant's or lessee's responsibility (§ 102-6(a)) — and Public Works' resident bulky-waste pickup is limited to a set volume a year (§ 102-6(b)). On a construction site, the general contractor provides containment that holds at least five cubic yards (§ 102-10). Small clean-outs and garage jobs fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and landscape jobs a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition and construction a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have strict weight limits, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. Arkansas counts the debris from building, remodeling, roofing and demolition — lumber, roofing, brick, concrete, siding, drywall, masonry, metal and glass among it — as construction and demolition waste (8 CAR § 60-106(15)). The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? We quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finish early? Call and we'll schedule an early pickup.
What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard clippings and branches, roofing shingles and small appliances, with concrete and dirt in a 10- or 15-yard container only. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and asbestos — that's our own list. Arkansas law backs up two of them: a used lead-acid battery may not go in with municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires can't be landfilled unless they're shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The state's landfill rules also keep liquid waste, and containers holding it, out of Class 4 landfills (8 CAR § 60-616). If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Arkansas guide covers the rest. Household leftovers we can't take go to the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center on the Washington County side, (479) 846-3005, or to the Benton County District's special-waste drop-off sites on the Benton County side, (479) 795-0751 — households only, no building materials.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Springdale
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Springdale
Who may haul — we check first: “All residents and business establishments of the city which generate less than two cubic yards of solid waste per week shall use the residential contract service that has been awarded by the city. Those who generate two cubic yards or more of solid waste per week shall contract with a licensed private collector for industrial and commercial collection who meets all city requirements” (§ 102-2). The private collector “must meet city qualifications, execute a contract with the city, and pay the required license fee pursuant to contract prior to entering into any such agreements with commercial/industrial units for the collection of such solid waste” (§ 102-2(2)), and a private collector is defined as one that “has a contract with the city” (§ 102-1). A City business licence is also required (§ 26-27). We check the City's rules before booking a container in Springdale. We're licensed and insured.
Construction sites: “The general contractor of any construction site shall provide adequate trash containment facilities for the construction site. All such trash containment facilities must be able to hold a minimum of five cubic yards of refuse, and must contain no openings of greater than three inches” (§ 102-10), in place by the first required inspection and “emptied on a regular basis.”
In the street: it's unlawful “to place on any street, any firewood, empty boxes or barrels, shavings, bricks, refuse or building materials” (§ 110-3(a)) or to deposit material of any kind on a street without the chief city inspector's permission (§ 110-3(c)); materials left while building need “a suitable light” at night (§ 110-1(a)), and any work in the right-of-way needs a barricaded work zone (§§ 110-8, 110-11). We found no dumpster permit for City streets. Driveway first. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of power lines and branches. Our smaller containers fit easily in most driveways, and we use boards when needed to protect the driveway.
Trucks: commercial vehicles — any vehicle of 20,001 lb or more, or used in the transportation of waste — may not be parked in a residentially zoned district or the street right-of-way, except “during the actual performance of a temporary service on the property where it is parked” (§ 114-56); trucks keep to marked truck routes except for a bona fide pickup or delivery (§ 114-88).
Two districts: Springdale straddles two solid waste districts. Washington County is in the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District, whose rules say “no person shall engage in the business of collection and/or transportation of solid wastes in the District without first securing a Solid Waste Hauler's License from the Board” (§ 9.02(A)). Licences run from July 1 to June 30 (§ 9.02(e)), and, as in Benton County, a District licence “does not supersede any local government's issuance of an exclusive franchise for hauling within its boundaries” (§ 9.02(f)). On the Benton County side, the Benton County District's licence and container-marking rules apply (8 CAR §§ 110-603(b), 110-612(b)(4)).
State highways: Arkansas holds state highway rights-of-way “inviolate for state highway purposes” (Ark. Code § 27-67-304(a)), and we found no ArDOT permit for setting a container on one — so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412 or a state route such as AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Beside one, it goes on private property.
Covered loads: both districts require open waste loads to be tarped above 35 mph (Boston Mountain § 9.03(c); 8 CAR § 110-612(b)(2)(B)), and state law bars driving any vehicle that isn't loaded so as to prevent its load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)). Keep debris below the top rim — if it's overfilled, we can't legally haul it.
Remodel or tear-down: Arkansas' Asbestos Abatement Rule (20 CAR pt. 860) leaves residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units out of its definition of a facility (§ 860-104(32)(A)), though disposal rules can still apply. For other buildings, the owner or operator has the building inspected for asbestos before demolition or renovation starts (§ 860-105), files a written notice with the Division of Environmental Quality at least 10 working days before any demolition, “even if no asbestos is present” (§ 860-201(a)), and gives the same notice for a renovation that disturbs at least 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet (§ 860-203). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Springdale
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address and the city — the rules follow the city the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that covers delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your city controls who may haul, we check its rules before booking.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal
Call or text when it is full or the job is done and we come and pick it up promptly. The load goes to local recycling and disposal facilities, and metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped whenever possible.

Dumpster rental in Springdale — common questions
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
Can I get a roll-off in Springdale?
Yes. We check the City's rules before booking a container in Springdale, because private collectors serving customers with two cubic yards or more a week must sign a contract with the City and pay its licence fee (§ 102-2(2)). Call (479) 364-6745 with the address and the job.
Does a Springdale construction site need a dumpster?
It needs trash containment: the general contractor provides a facility that holds at least five cubic yards with no openings over three inches, in place by the first required inspection (§ 102-10).
Can a dumpster go on a Springdale street?
Springdale's code bars refuse and building materials from streets and needs the chief city inspector's permission to put material of any kind there (§ 110-3). We place on the driveway or lot.
