Roll-off dumpster rental in Bella Vista
Approx. 15 road miles north-northwest of the yard, around 23 minutes.
Bella Vista is approx. 15 road miles north-northwest of the yard, around 23 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows, once we've checked the City's rules for the job. Bella Vista is a city of 30,104 at the 2020 Census, and its Street Department maintains more than 550 miles of road.
Bella Vista's code says “All residents and commercial establishments of the city shall be required to subscribe to the solid waste removal services provided by the city” (§ 22-1(b)), through City crews or a contractor the City selects. The code's definition of solid waste names kitchen waste, paper and containers but not construction debris, and it doesn't say whether a roll-off falls under the mandatory service, so we check the City's rules before booking. Placement takes thought here too: the average residential right-of-way is 40 feet wide, and the City notes its streets aren't consistently built in the middle of it.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Bella Vista
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Mandatory City service — all residents and commercial establishments subscribe to the City's contracted solid waste service (§ 22-1(b)).
- No big trucks overnight — trucks, tractors or trailers of 1½ tons or more may not park on a right-of-way, street or residential lot from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (§ 26-30(a)).
- Storm debris — storm debris placed in a City right-of-way for prompt removal by a private entity must be gone within 48 hours (§ 22-2(c)).
- Where the right-of-way is — the average residential right-of-way is 40 feet wide and streets aren't consistently built in its middle, so part of a front yard can be City right-of-way.
- Highways are ArDOT's — Highways 71, 340 and 279 in Bella Vista are ArDOT right-of-way.
- Storage containers aren't dumpsters — the City's portable storage container rule (§ 16-30) covers cargo and shipping containers; roll-off dumpsters aren't named in it.
What comes out of Bella Vista properties
After a storm, Bella Vista gives storm debris placed at the right-of-way for a private crew just 48 hours before it has to be gone (§ 22-2(c)), with fines up to $100 for a first offense and $500 after that — a container on the driveway takes the pressure off. Small clean-outs and garage jobs fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and landscape jobs a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition and construction a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have strict weight limits, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? We quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finish early? Call and we'll schedule an early pickup.
What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard clippings and branches, roofing shingles and small appliances, with concrete and dirt in a 10- or 15-yard container only. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and asbestos — that's our own list. Arkansas law backs up two of them: a used lead-acid battery may not go in with municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires can't be landfilled unless they're shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The state's landfill rules also keep liquid waste, and containers holding it, out of Class 4 landfills (8 CAR § 60-616). If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Arkansas guide covers the rest. Household special waste goes to the Benton County Solid Waste District's drop-off sites: the main site at 5702 Brookside Rd (the District's Centerton site) and satellites at 2307 N Arkansas St in Rogers and 1108 E Ashley St in Siloam Springs. They are for households only — no building materials of any kind, no household trash and no delivery in commercial vehicles — so call the District at (479) 795-0751 for what each site takes.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Bella Vista
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

| 40 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 8 ft high | about 12 pickup truck loads | 5–6 tons | Commercial renovations, new builds and major demolition, full-home remodels, warehouse and office cleanouts, commercial roofing and large event cleanup. |
Permits, placement and who may haul in Bella Vista
Who may haul — we check first: “All residents and commercial establishments of the city shall be required to subscribe to the solid waste removal services provided by the city, be that through services actually provided by city employees or through the services provided by a third party selected by and contracted with the city for the purpose of providing residential and commercial solid waste hauling and disposal services” (§ 22-1(b)), and the contract's terms bind those who subscribe (§ 22-1(c)). Solid waste is defined to include kitchen waste, paper, cans, glass and the like (§ 22-1(a)); construction and demolition debris isn't named, and the code doesn't say whether a roll-off falls under the mandatory service. A business licence is required, unless a business with no premises in Bella Vista is licensed by another Arkansas city (§ 16-62(c)). We check the City's rules before booking a container in Bella Vista. We're licensed and insured.
Overnight truck parking: “No person shall park a truck, tractor, or trailer with a capacity of 1½ ton or larger, or the chassis thereof, on any right-of-way, street, or residential lot between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.” (§ 26-30(a)). The code doesn't say whether a dropped container counts as a trailer, so that's part of what we check with the City before booking.
In the street: the City requires a permit for improvements to its right-of-way (§ 24-21) under its excavation permit manual (§ 24-1); we found no dumpster or temporary right-of-way use permit. With an average residential right-of-way of 40 feet, and streets not always built in the middle of it, part of your front yard may be City right-of-way, so the container goes on the driveway. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of power lines and branches. Our smaller containers fit easily in most driveways, and we use boards when needed to protect the driveway.
Storm debris: “It shall be unlawful to place debris upon city rights-of-way”, except storm debris placed there for prompt removal by a private entity, which “must be removed from the right-of-way within 48 hours of placement” (§ 22-2(c)).
County hauler rules: Arkansas leaves hauler licensing to its regional solid waste districts (8 CAR § 60-202). Benton County's district rules say “A person who engages in hauling solid waste within Benton County must obtain a license from the district” to collect solid waste in the district or transport it for disposal or storage there (8 CAR § 110-603(b)); every roll-off container must show the business name and phone number “in letters no less than four inches … high on at least two (2) sides of the unit” (§ 110-612(b)(4)); and a District licence “does not supersede any local government's issuance of an exclusive franchise for hauling within its boundaries” (§ 110-609(d)) — which is why the local rules on this page matter.
State highways: Highways 71, 340 and 279 in Bella Vista are ArDOT right-of-way. Arkansas holds state highway rights-of-way “inviolate for state highway purposes” (Ark. Code § 27-67-304(a)), and we found no ArDOT permit for setting a container on one — so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412 or a state route such as AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Beside one, it goes on private property.
Covered loads: in Benton County, haulers' vehicles with open storage areas “must be tarped when traveling in excess of thirty-five miles per hour (35 m.p.h.)” (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(2)(B)), and state law bars driving any vehicle that isn't loaded so as to prevent its load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)). Keep debris below the top rim — if it's overfilled, we can't legally haul it.
Remodel or tear-down: Arkansas' Asbestos Abatement Rule (20 CAR pt. 860) leaves residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units out of its definition of a facility (§ 860-104(32)(A)), though disposal rules can still apply. For other buildings, the owner or operator has the building inspected for asbestos before demolition or renovation starts (§ 860-105), files a written notice with the Division of Environmental Quality at least 10 working days before any demolition, “even if no asbestos is present” (§ 860-201(a)), and gives the same notice for a renovation that disturbs at least 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet (§ 860-203). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Bella Vista
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address and the city — the rules follow the city the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that covers delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your city controls who may haul, we check its rules before booking.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal
Call or text when it is full or the job is done and we come and pick it up promptly. The load goes to local recycling and disposal facilities, and metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped whenever possible.

Local answers
Dumpster rental in Bella Vista — common questions
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
Can I get a roll-off in Bella Vista?
Yes. We check the City's rules before booking a container in Bella Vista, because every resident and commercial establishment must subscribe to the City-contracted solid waste service (§ 22-1(b)). Call (479) 364-6745 with the address and the job.
Can a dumpster sit at the curb in Bella Vista?
We place on the driveway. The average residential right-of-way is 40 feet wide and streets aren't always built in its middle, so the curb strip may be City right-of-way, and trucks or trailers of 1½ tons or more may not park on a street, right-of-way or residential lot from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (§ 26-30).
How long can storm debris sit at the road in Bella Vista?
48 hours. Storm debris placed in a City right-of-way for removal by a private entity must be gone within 48 hours of placement (§ 22-2(c)).
How far is Bella Vista from your yard?
Approx. 15 road miles north-northwest, around 23 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows, once we've checked the City's rules.
