Local cleanups
We support neighborhood cleanup days, school and church projects and volunteer events across Bentonville, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, Centerton, Decatur, Gentry, Gravette, Highfill, Lincoln, Little Flock, Lowell, Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Springdale and Tontitown. When a local group organizes a cleanup, the hard part is always the pile at the end — and a roll-off is often exactly what it needs. Tell us what you are clearing and we help you pick the size.
One honest tip: sort before you load. Household paint, chemicals and other special waste go to the Benton County Solid Waste District's drop-offs, which take household items only, or the Washington County household hazardous waste center run by the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District. Recycling goes further at a recycling drop-off such as the City of Rogers Recycling Center. Green waste is worth keeping in its own load, and in Bentonville residents can take yard waste to the City composting facility at 2000 Northwest A Street. Keep tires, batteries, propane tanks and anything hazardous out of a cleanup container altogether.
Working with local groups
Have a community project in mind? Call (479) 364-6745 or email info@bentonvilledumpsterpro.com and let us know how we can help. A cleanup container follows the same rules as any other. In Bentonville, City Code § 42-80 says: "No pickups or hauling of refuse shall be made except by city-owned or authorized vehicles. Authorized vehicles shall be those as to which the owner has a written contract with the city." Homes and businesses use the City's collection service, run by a contractor under a City contract (§ 42-71), and we found no City page that mentions roll-offs or construction debris. So we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking. In the street, Bentonville needs a City right-of-way permit for any work in the public right-of-way (§ 50-721); in Rogers a dumpster in a street or public parking space needs a ROW Use Permit; and in Bella Vista storm debris left in City right-of-way for a private company has to be gone within 48 hours (§ 22-2(c)). We tell you what applies before the day.
We also work alongside the contractors, landscapers and small businesses that keep Northwest Arkansas growing, and help keep neighborhoods clean during renovations, cleanups and seasonal projects.
Responsible disposal
Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We work with local recycling and disposal facilities and divert reusable materials, metal and clean fill away from the landfill whenever possible, helping protect the lakes, creeks and green spaces that make Northwest Arkansas special. Hazardous materials go to a household hazardous waste collection, never the container, and every load leaves built or loaded so nothing drops, sifts, leaks or escapes, as Arkansas law requires (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)).
