Roll-off dumpster rental in Lowell
Approx. 8 road miles south-southeast of the yard, around 12 minutes.
Lowell is approx. 8 road miles south-southeast of the yard, around 12 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows; call before noon for the best chance of same-day. Lowell is a city of 9,839 at the 2020 Census.
Lowell's solid waste chapter has no collection franchise, mandatory-service rule or hauler permit that we could find, and neither does its franchise appendix. What it does have is a firm street rule — “No person shall obstruct any street, sidewalk, or drainage structure in the city” (§ 22-5(a)) — with no right-of-way use permit to get around it. So in Lowell the container goes on your driveway or lot, never in the street.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Lowell
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- No franchise found — we found no collection franchise, mandatory-service rule or hauler permit in Lowell's Chapter 26 or its franchise appendix.
- Streets stay clear — no one may obstruct a street, sidewalk or drainage structure (§ 22-5(a)), and we found no permit process for the right-of-way.
- Trucks while serving — trucks or trailers of 1 ton or more may stand on a street only while making a delivery, pickup or service at the premises (§ 28-35).
- Narrow streets — no parking on any street 20 feet wide or less, and one side only on wider streets (§ 28-34).
- Truck routes — highways plus Appleblossom Rd, Commercial Ave, Lincoln St and Old Wire Rd, with a defense for local pickups and deliveries (§ 28-3); no engine brakes (§ 28-6).
- Dumping stops the job — illegal dumping on a building site brings a stop work order and suspends the permit until it's cleaned up (§ 26-44(d)).
What comes out of Lowell properties
Lowell takes dumping on a job site seriously: illegal dumping found on a building or improvement site gets the permit holder a stop work order and a suspended permit until it's cleaned up (§ 26-44(d)), and the permit holder is presumed responsible (§ 26-45(a)(3)). A roll-off on the lot keeps the debris where it belongs. Small clean-outs and garage jobs fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and landscape jobs a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition and construction a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have strict weight limits, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. Arkansas counts the debris from building, remodeling, roofing and demolition — lumber, roofing, brick, concrete, siding, drywall, masonry, metal and glass among it — as construction and demolition waste (8 CAR § 60-106(15)). The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? We quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finish early? Call and we'll schedule an early pickup.
What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard clippings and branches, roofing shingles and small appliances, with concrete and dirt in a 10- or 15-yard container only. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and asbestos — that's our own list. Arkansas law backs up two of them: a used lead-acid battery may not go in with municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires can't be landfilled unless they're shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The state's landfill rules also keep liquid waste, and containers holding it, out of Class 4 landfills (8 CAR § 60-616). If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Arkansas guide covers the rest. Household special waste goes to the Benton County Solid Waste District's drop-off sites: the main site at 5702 Brookside Rd (the District's Centerton site) and satellites at 2307 N Arkansas St in Rogers and 1108 E Ashley St in Siloam Springs. They are for households only — no building materials of any kind, no household trash and no delivery in commercial vehicles — so call the District at (479) 795-0751 for what each site takes.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Lowell
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Yard Dumpster | about 14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 3.5 ft high | about 3 pickup truck loads | 1–2 tons | Small kitchen and bathroom remodels, single-room and garage cleanouts, small roofing jobs, and heavy material such as concrete, brick, tile, asphalt and dirt. |
| 15 Yard Dumpster | about 16 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 4–5 pickup truck loads | 2–3 tons | Garage, attic and basement cleanouts, flooring and carpet removal, kitchen and bath remodels, small deck and fence removal, light roofing jobs and yard waste. |
| 20 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 6 pickup truck loads | 3–4 tons | Kitchen and bath remodels, multi-room renovations, whole-home cleanouts, roofing, large landscaping jobs and light demolition. |
| 30 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 6 ft high | about 9 pickup truck loads | 4–5 tons | Multi-room and full-house renovations, estate and rental property cleanouts, retail and office remodels, light demolition and community cleanups. |
| 40 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 8 ft high | about 12 pickup truck loads | 5–6 tons | Commercial renovations, new builds and major demolition, full-home remodels, warehouse and office cleanouts, commercial roofing and large event cleanup. |
Permits, placement and who may haul in Lowell
Who may haul: we found no collection franchise, mandatory-service rule or hauler permit in Lowell's solid waste chapter (Ch. 26) or in its franchise appendix. “Any out-of-town contractor doing work within the corporate limits of the city must show proof that they have a valid business license from the local government where their business is located” or buy a Lowell licence (§ 20-58). We're licensed and insured.
In the street — no: “No person shall obstruct any street, sidewalk, or drainage structure in the city” (§ 22-5(a)), and “The installation of gates, barriers or other blockage of public streets, alleys, sidewalks, easements and rights-of-way are hereby prohibited” (§ 22-5(c)). We found no right-of-way use permit, so we don't place containers on Lowell streets or sidewalks. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of power lines and branches. Our smaller containers fit easily in most driveways, and we use boards when needed to protect the driveway.
Trucks: “No person shall park, store or leave standing a truck, tractor or trailer with a capacity of one ton or larger … upon a public street”, though that doesn't prevent a vehicle's temporary location on a street “when engaged in delivery, pickup, or service to the premises” (§ 28-35). Parking is prohibited on streets 20 feet wide or less (§ 28-34); trucks keep to highways and the listed truck routes, with a defense for a local pickup or delivery (§ 28-3); city-street limits are 20,000 lb on a single axle, 34,000 lb tandem and 80,000 lb gross (§ 28-8); and engine brakes are prohibited (§ 28-6).
Job sites: if illegal dumping is found on a building or improvement site, “the holder of such permit shall be issued a stop work order … and the building/construction permit shall be suspended” until it's cleaned up (§ 26-44(d)).
County hauler rules: Arkansas leaves hauler licensing to its regional solid waste districts (8 CAR § 60-202). Benton County's district rules say “A person who engages in hauling solid waste within Benton County must obtain a license from the district” to collect solid waste in the district or transport it for disposal or storage there (8 CAR § 110-603(b)); every roll-off container must show the business name and phone number “in letters no less than four inches … high on at least two (2) sides of the unit” (§ 110-612(b)(4)); and a District licence “does not supersede any local government's issuance of an exclusive franchise for hauling within its boundaries” (§ 110-609(d)) — which is why the local rules on this page matter.
State highways: Arkansas holds state highway rights-of-way “inviolate for state highway purposes” (Ark. Code § 27-67-304(a)), and we found no ArDOT permit for setting a container on one — so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412 or a state route such as AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Beside one, it goes on private property.
Covered loads: in Benton County, haulers' vehicles with open storage areas “must be tarped when traveling in excess of thirty-five miles per hour (35 m.p.h.)” (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(2)(B)), and state law bars driving any vehicle that isn't loaded so as to prevent its load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)). Keep debris below the top rim — if it's overfilled, we can't legally haul it.
Remodel or tear-down: Arkansas' Asbestos Abatement Rule (20 CAR pt. 860) leaves residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units out of its definition of a facility (§ 860-104(32)(A)), though disposal rules can still apply. For other buildings, the owner or operator has the building inspected for asbestos before demolition or renovation starts (§ 860-105), files a written notice with the Division of Environmental Quality at least 10 working days before any demolition, “even if no asbestos is present” (§ 860-201(a)), and gives the same notice for a renovation that disturbs at least 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet (§ 860-203). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Lowell
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address and the city — the rules follow the city the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that covers delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your city controls who may haul, we check its rules before booking.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal
Call or text when it is full or the job is done and we come and pick it up promptly. The load goes to local recycling and disposal facilities, and metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped whenever possible.

Dumpster rental in Lowell — common questions
Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Lowell?
We found no Lowell dumpster permit, trash franchise or hauler permit in the City's code. Lowell bans obstructing streets and sidewalks (§ 22-5) and has no right-of-way use permit, so the container goes on your driveway or lot.
Can a dumpster go on a Lowell street?
No. Lowell's code says no person shall obstruct any street, sidewalk or drainage structure (§ 22-5(a)), and we found no permit that allows it. Trucks may stand on the street only while delivering or picking up at the premises (§ 28-35).
How fast can you deliver in Lowell?
Same-day or next-day when availability allows. Lowell is approx. 8 road miles from the yard, around 12 minutes. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day.
How much does a dumpster cost in Lowell?
Dumpster rental prices typically range from $350 to $750, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. Our pricing is flat rate: delivery, pickup and disposal are in the quote, with no hidden fees. Call (479) 364-6745 for a quote.
