Same-day or next-day when availability allows; call before noon for the best chance of same-day.

Bentonville is a city of 54,164 at the 2020 Census, in a county of 284,333. Its code is direct about hauling: “No pickups or hauling of refuse shall be made except by city-owned or authorized vehicles. Authorized vehicles shall be those as to which the owner has a written contract with the city” (§ 42-80), and every home and business uses the City's collection service, which a contractor runs under a City contract (§ 42-71). We found no City page or code section that deals with roll-off or construction containers, so we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking. Driveway first.

How we reach Bentonville

From SE Otis Corley Dr every part of Bentonville is a short run — downtown is approx. 4 road miles, around 10 minutes, and the I-49 corridor is under a mile from the yard. Local knowledge

Getting our bearings in Bentonville

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • The yard is in the City — 2501 SE Otis Corley Dr, a local road in southeast Bentonville, near I-49 (Census geocoder; TIGERweb).
  • Contract-only hauling — refuse may be hauled only by City-owned vehicles or vehicles whose owner has a written contract with the City (§ 42-80); a violation is a misdemeanor, with each day a separate offense.
  • City collection for everyone — homes and businesses use the City's refuse service and City-furnished containers (§§ 42-71, 42-73(a)), and yard waste may not go in normal trash.
  • Right-of-way permit — any work in the public right-of-way needs a City permit (§ 50-721), posted where it's visible from the street; submittals take 5 business days to review.
  • Trucks on City streets — vehicles over 3 tons may stand on a street only while loading or unloading, and in residential zones only from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (§ 94-63).
  • No burning yard debris — the City's fire code amendment prohibits it at all times (§ 14-204, 307.4.6); residents' yard waste goes to the City Compost Facility at 2000 NW A St.

What comes out of Bentonville properties

Small clean-outs and garage jobs fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and landscape jobs a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition and construction a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have strict weight limits, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. Arkansas counts the debris from building, remodeling, roofing and demolition — lumber, roofing, brick, concrete, siding, drywall, masonry, metal and glass among it — as construction and demolition waste (8 CAR § 60-106(15)). Bentonville's own rules point the same way: the City's refuse service runs on City-furnished containers (§ 42-73(a)), and its code counts “debris of any nature, including … wood scrap” as refuse (§ 42-70) — which is why we check the City's requirements before a remodel container goes down. The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? We quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finish early? Call and we'll schedule an early pickup.

What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard clippings and branches, roofing shingles and small appliances, with concrete and dirt in a 10- or 15-yard container only. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and asbestos — that's our own list. Arkansas law backs up two of them: a used lead-acid battery may not go in with municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires can't be landfilled unless they're shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The state's landfill rules also keep liquid waste, and containers holding it, out of Class 4 landfills (8 CAR § 60-616). If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Arkansas guide covers the rest. Household special waste goes to the Benton County Solid Waste District's drop-off sites: the main site at 5702 Brookside Rd (the District's Centerton site) and satellites at 2307 N Arkansas St in Rogers and 1108 E Ashley St in Siloam Springs. They are for households only — no building materials of any kind, no household trash and no delivery in commercial vehicles — so call the District at (479) 795-0751 for what each site takes. Bentonville residents can also take yard waste to the City Compost Facility at 2000 NW A St, and burning yard debris is prohibited in the City at all times (§ 14-204).

Permits, placement and who may haul in Bentonville

Who may haul — read this first: Bentonville's code says “No pickups or hauling of refuse shall be made except by city-owned or authorized vehicles. Authorized vehicles shall be those as to which the owner has a written contract with the city” (§ 42-80), with a fine of up to $100 and each day a separate offense. It defines refuse as “any and all garbage, trash, rubbish and debris of any nature” (§ 42-70) and has every home and business use the City's collection service (§ 42-71), which a contractor runs under a City contract. We found no City page, permit or code section that addresses roll-off or construction containers, so we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking. We're licensed and insured.

In the street: “A right-of-way permit is required for: All work performed within the public right-of-way that is not associated with a defined project” (§ 50-721). The Street Department (3200 SW Municipal Dr, 479-271-3130) takes applications online through eTrakit; the permit is posted where it's clearly visible from the street, a traffic management plan is needed for any closure, and submittals take 5 business days to review. Neither the code nor the City's page names dumpsters, and obstructing a street, alley or sidewalk with boxes, barrels “or any other thing” that blocks easy and free passage is an offense (§ 82-120). Driveway first. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of power lines and branches. Our smaller containers fit easily in most driveways, and we use boards when needed to protect the driveway.

Sidewalks: the City's encroachment permit covers private uses that occupy the right-of-way (dumpsters aren't named), and its standards say “A minimum clear pedestrian path of five feet must be maintained along all sidewalks at all times” (§ 50-721). Refuse and debris may not be left on a street, sidewalk or alley either (§ 42-47).

Truck parking: “No vehicle in excess of three tons loaded or unloaded may be parked at any time upon any street, alley, easement, right-of-way, parkway or sidewalk within the corporate limits of the city, unless engaged in loading or unloading commercial commodities … and thence only between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in R1, MH, T2, T3 and T4 zoning districts” (§ 94-63, amended 2026), and trucks keep to truck routes and state or federal highways except to reach a pickup or delivery (§ 94-64).

Permanent enclosures aren't roll-offs: the masonry enclosure the development code wants around permanent dumpster and refuse areas (§ 50-510) is a site-development rule, not one for a temporary container.

County hauler rules: Arkansas leaves hauler licensing to its regional solid waste districts (8 CAR § 60-202). Benton County's district rules say “A person who engages in hauling solid waste within Benton County must obtain a license from the district” to collect solid waste in the district or transport it for disposal or storage there (8 CAR § 110-603(b)); every roll-off container must show the business name and phone number “in letters no less than four inches … high on at least two (2) sides of the unit” (§ 110-612(b)(4)); and a District licence “does not supersede any local government's issuance of an exclusive franchise for hauling within its boundaries” (§ 110-609(d)) — which is why the local rules on this page matter. The District's office is at 5702 Brookside Rd, (479) 795-0751.

State highways: AR-12 (Walton Blvd), AR-72, AR-102 (SE 14th St) and AR-112 (SE J St) are state routes in town. Arkansas holds state highway rights-of-way “inviolate for state highway purposes” (Ark. Code § 27-67-304(a)), and we found no ArDOT permit for setting a container on one — so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412 or a state route such as AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Beside one, it goes on private property.

Covered loads: in Benton County, haulers' vehicles with open storage areas “must be tarped when traveling in excess of thirty-five miles per hour (35 m.p.h.)” (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(2)(B)), and state law bars driving any vehicle that isn't loaded so as to prevent its load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)). Keep debris below the top rim — if it's overfilled, we can't legally haul it.

Remodel or tear-down: Arkansas' Asbestos Abatement Rule (20 CAR pt. 860) leaves residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units out of its definition of a facility (§ 860-104(32)(A)), though disposal rules can still apply. For other buildings, the owner or operator has the building inspected for asbestos before demolition or renovation starts (§ 860-105), files a written notice with the Division of Environmental Quality at least 10 working days before any demolition, “even if no asbestos is present” (§ 860-201(a)), and gives the same notice for a renovation that disturbs at least 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet (§ 860-203). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Bentonville

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. Step 1: Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask the address and the city — the rules follow the city the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.

  2. Step 2: We size it and quote it flat

We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that covers delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your city controls who may haul, we check its rules before booking.

  3. Step 3: Delivered where you want it

The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.

  4. Step 4: Load it at your pace

Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.

  5. Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal

Call or text when it is full or the job is done and we come and pick it up promptly. The load goes to local recycling and disposal facilities, and metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped whenever possible.

Local answers

Dumpster rental in Bentonville — common questions

Not covered here? Call (479) 364-6745 and ask.

Do you deliver dumpsters in Bentonville?

Yes. Bentonville is home, and our yard is inside the City. Because City Code § 42-80 limits refuse hauling to City-owned vehicles or vehicles whose owner has a written contract with the City, we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking. Call (479) 364-6745 with the address and the job.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Bentonville?

We found no City permit written for dumpsters. A container in the street or on a sidewalk is in the public right-of-way, where any work needs a right-of-way permit (§ 50-721) and obstructions are an offense (§ 82-120), so we place it on your driveway or lot, and we check the City's requirements and the placement with you before booking.

How fast can you deliver in Bentonville?

Same-day or next-day when availability allows. The yard is approx. 4 road miles from downtown, around 10 minutes. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day; the phone is answered 24/7.

How much does a dumpster cost in Bentonville?

Dumpster rental prices typically range from $350 to $750, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. Our pricing is flat rate: delivery, pickup and disposal are in the quote, with no hidden fees. Call (479) 364-6745 for a quote.

Can I burn brush instead of renting a container?

Not in Bentonville. The City's fire code amendment prohibits burning yard debris at all times (§ 14-204, 307.4.6). Branches and yard waste go in a container, or residents can take yard waste to the City Compost Facility at 2000 NW A St.
