Roll-off dumpster rental in Centerton

Approx. 7 road miles west of the yard, around 15 minutes.

Centerton is approx. 7 road miles west of the yard, around 15 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows, once we've checked the City's rules for the job. Centerton is a city of 17,792 at the 2020 Census, and the Benton County Solid Waste District's main site is here, at 5702 Brookside Rd.

Centerton's code grants an exclusive franchise for collecting solid waste from residential living units and makes taking part mandatory (§§ 5.08.01, 5.08.04). We found no rule for commercial or construction hauling, and the code doesn't say whether a homeowner's temporary roll-off falls under the franchise, so we check the City's rules before booking. What the code does say plainly is useful: building sites need a covered container before the temporary electric meter is approved (§ 5.05.02), and a demolition permit requires a 20-yard minimum dumpster on site (§ 11.20.03(F)).

Local knowledge

Getting our bearings in Centerton

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • Residential franchise — the City may grant “an exclusive franchise for the collection of solid waste from residential living units” (§ 5.08.01), and participation is mandatory (§ 5.08.04).
  • Container before the meter — every building site needs a covered container of at least 50 cubic feet before a temporary electrical meter is approved (§ 5.05.02).
  • Inspections stop — debris found outside the container means no further inspections until penalties are paid and the site is cleaned (§ 5.05.03(B)).
  • Demolition needs a 20-yard — a demolition permit “Requires a 20-yard minimum dumpster on site”, and so do house-moving and manufactured-home permits (§ 11.20.03(F)).
  • Quiet hours — handling containers and building materials between 10 p.m. and dawn in a way that disturbs a residential area is prohibited (§ 7.44.02(G)).
  • County District — the Benton County Solid Waste District's main site, 5702 Brookside Rd, is in Centerton (households only for special waste).

What comes out of Centerton properties

On a Centerton demolition the size question is partly answered for you: the permit requires a 20-yard minimum dumpster on site (§ 11.20.03(F)), and bigger tear-downs go to a 30 or a 40. New builds need a covered site container in place before the temporary meter (§ 5.05.02), and builders can't leave building rubbish uncontained on the site or the street (§ 5.04.08). Small clean-outs and garage jobs fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and landscape jobs a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition and construction a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have strict weight limits, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? We quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finish early? Call and we'll schedule an early pickup.

What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard clippings and branches, roofing shingles and small appliances, with concrete and dirt in a 10- or 15-yard container only. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and asbestos — that's our own list. Arkansas law backs up two of them: a used lead-acid battery may not go in with municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires can't be landfilled unless they're shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). The state's landfill rules also keep liquid waste, and containers holding it, out of Class 4 landfills (8 CAR § 60-616). If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Arkansas guide covers the rest. Household special waste goes to the Benton County Solid Waste District's drop-off sites: the main site at 5702 Brookside Rd (the District's Centerton site) and satellites at 2307 N Arkansas St in Rogers and 1108 E Ashley St in Siloam Springs. They are for households only — no building materials of any kind, no household trash and no delivery in commercial vehicles — so call the District at (479) 795-0751 for what each site takes.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Centerton

Who may haul — we check first: Centerton's code lets the City contract for “an exclusive franchise for the collection of solid waste from residential living units within the corporate limits of the city” (§ 5.08.01, Ord. 2026-06), says “participation by residential living units within the city is hereby made mandatory” (§ 5.08.04), and makes failing to stay enrolled a misdemeanor (§§ 5.08.05, 5.08.06). We found no franchise, permit or contract rule for commercial, construction or roll-off hauling, and the code doesn't say whether the residential franchise covers a homeowner's temporary roll-off. A Centerton business licence is required to do business in the city (§ 4.04.02). We check the City's rules before booking a container in Centerton. We're licensed and insured.

Building sites: “All owners, contractors and developers of lots or other real property within the city limits of the city of Centerton, Arkansas, shall install on each building site a covered container … that is a minimum of 50 cubic feet”, anchored to stay upright, and “This container must be installed before any request to set a temporary electrical meter on such site will be approved” (§ 5.05.02). Debris outside it stops inspections until the site is cleaned (§ 5.05.03(B)), and building rubbish may not be left uncontained on streets, rights-of-way or construction sites (§ 5.04.08).

Demolition and house moves: the fee schedule says a demolition permit “Requires a 20-yard minimum dumpster on site”, and house-moving and manufactured-home permits need a 20-yard minimum dumpster and proof of an Arkansas DOT permit (§ 11.20.03(F)(2)–(3)). Check current permit fees with the City.

In the street: no motor vehicle, trailer “or any other equipment or machinery” may be left parked on a street or alley for more than twelve hours (§ 8.16.01); the code doesn't say whether a container counts. We found no dumpster or temporary right-of-way permit — the right-of-way chapter covers excavation only (Ch. 9.04). Driveway first. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of power lines and branches. Our smaller containers fit easily in most driveways, and we use boards when needed to protect the driveway.

Trucks and hours: trucks over 32,000 lb GVW with no business in town keep to highways and truck routes, and trucks making deliveries or pickups take the shortest route (§ 8.08.01); loading or handling containers between 10 p.m. and dawn that disturbs a residential area is prohibited (§ 7.44.02(G)).

County hauler rules: Arkansas leaves hauler licensing to its regional solid waste districts (8 CAR § 60-202). Benton County's district rules say “A person who engages in hauling solid waste within Benton County must obtain a license from the district” to collect solid waste in the district or transport it for disposal or storage there (8 CAR § 110-603(b)); every roll-off container must show the business name and phone number “in letters no less than four inches … high on at least two (2) sides of the unit” (§ 110-612(b)(4)); and a District licence “does not supersede any local government's issuance of an exclusive franchise for hauling within its boundaries” (§ 110-609(d)) — which is why the local rules on this page matter.

State highways: Arkansas holds state highway rights-of-way “inviolate for state highway purposes” (Ark. Code § 27-67-304(a)), and we found no ArDOT permit for setting a container on one — so a container never goes in the right-of-way of I-49, US-71, US-62, US-412 or a state route such as AR-12, AR-72, AR-102 or AR-112. Beside one, it goes on private property.

Covered loads: in Benton County, haulers' vehicles with open storage areas “must be tarped when traveling in excess of thirty-five miles per hour (35 m.p.h.)” (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(2)(B)), and state law bars driving any vehicle that isn't loaded so as to prevent its load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)). Keep debris below the top rim — if it's overfilled, we can't legally haul it.

Remodel or tear-down: Arkansas' Asbestos Abatement Rule (20 CAR pt. 860) leaves residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units out of its definition of a facility (§ 860-104(32)(A)), though disposal rules can still apply. For other buildings, the owner or operator has the building inspected for asbestos before demolition or renovation starts (§ 860-105), files a written notice with the Division of Environmental Quality at least 10 working days before any demolition, “even if no asbestos is present” (§ 860-201(a)), and gives the same notice for a renovation that disturbs at least 260 linear feet on pipes, 160 square feet on other components or 35 cubic feet (§ 860-203). Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Centerton

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. Step 1: Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask the address and the city — the rules follow the city the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.

  2. Step 2: We size it and quote it flat

We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that covers delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your city controls who may haul, we check its rules before booking.

  3. Step 3: Delivered where you want it

The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.

  4. Step 4: Load it at your pace

Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.

  5. Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal

Call or text when it is full or the job is done and we come and pick it up promptly. The load goes to local recycling and disposal facilities, and metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped whenever possible.
