Dumpster Rental Cost in Bentonville, AR: What Drives It

The typical range, and why we quote by phone

Dumpster rental prices in Bentonville typically range from $350 to $750. Where a job lands depends on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. We offer flat-rate pricing: delivery, pickup and disposal are all included in your quote, with no hidden fees, no hidden fuel surcharges and no environmental fees. What we quote is what you pay.

We quote by phone rather than post a price list, because the things that decide the number, what is going in, how heavy it is and how far the truck runs, change from job to job. A 15 yard of carpet in Centerton and a 10 yard of broken patio in Lowell are different jobs at the scale and on the road. Call (479) 364-6745 with the address and the material for a flat quote. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and payment is made when your booking is confirmed, to secure your delivery slot.

What a flat rate covers

A flat-rate quote includes delivery and pickup, disposal up to your included weight allowance, and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days, with the days confirmed in your quote. That is the whole job for most customers. The rest of this guide is about the few things that can change it, and how to keep them from changing it.

The biggest cost inside any flat rate is disposal. The Benton County Solid Waste District says building materials, including construction and demolition materials, must be disposed of at a transfer station or landfill, and its rules send every load to a fully permitted facility (8 CAR § 110-612(b)(5)). Arkansas sorts that waste by type: construction and demolition waste covers lumber, roofing, bricks, concrete, siding, drywall, masonry, metal, cardboard and glass from building, remodeling and roofing (8 CAR § 60-106(15)), while Class 4 waste takes in bulky items such as appliances, furniture, stumps and limbs (§ 60-106(10)). A clean demolition load and a mixed cleanout load are different loads at the facility. Whenever possible, debris like metal, concrete and yard waste is recycled instead of dumped.

The things that move it

Size and weight. Each dumpster includes a standard weight allowance based on size: 1–2 tons on a 10 yard, 2–3 on a 15, 3–4 on a 20, 4–5 on a 30 and 5–6 on a 40. If your debris goes over, we weigh the container and apply an overage fee. Tile, plaster, concrete, dirt, brick and shingles use the allowance up fast, so for heavy loads we recommend a smaller dumpster.

Days. The standard rental period is 3 to 7 days, and your quote confirms the days. Need longer? Call us and we will adjust your rental and quote a small daily or weekly extension fee. Finished early? Call and we will schedule an early pickup.

Distance. Delivery location is part of every quote. Our yard is in southeast Bentonville, near I-49, and approx. road miles from it are: Bentonville and Rogers 4, Little Flock 6, Centerton 7, Cave Springs and Lowell 8, Pea Ridge 12, Bella Vista and Springdale 15, Highfill 16, Tontitown, Gravette and Decatur 18, Gentry 24, Siloam Springs and Prairie Grove 33, and Lincoln 41. Approximate figures, but they explain why the longer runs can cost a little more.

Extra service. Additional pickups, swap-outs of a full box for an empty one, and a step up to a bigger size are all priced as part of the quote.

Items that cost you at the facility

Some items cause trouble at the scale or the gate. Arkansas says no person shall place a used lead-acid battery in municipal solid waste (Ark. Code § 8-9-303(f)), and whole tires may not be deposited in a landfill as final disposal unless shredded or split (§ 8-9-403(c)(3)(A)). Asbestos has its own handling and disposal rules (20 CAR pt. 860). Facilities set their own rules on top of that, such as refusing appliances that still hold Freon. So an old car battery or a set of tires tossed in at the end can cost more than it is worth.

Keep these out, along with the rest of our no list: paint, solvents and oils, fuel and other hazardous liquids, tires, batteries, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders, propane tanks and other pressurized tanks, medical waste and asbestos. The what-goes-in guide says where each one goes instead.

What the do-it-yourself options look like

For a small job, a city program or a drop-off may do. For anything bigger, the limits add up:

OptionWhat it takesLimits
Bentonville City trash serviceTwo carts, billed with your utility billYard waste may not go in the normal trash; no roll-off or construction debris service found on City pages
Bentonville City Compost Facility, 2000 NW A StYard waste from residentsYard waste only
Benton County Solid Waste District drop-off sites: Centerton (5702 Brookside Rd), Rogers (2307 N Arkansas St), Siloam Springs (1108 E Ashley St)Household special wasteHouseholds only; no building materials of any kind, no household trash, no commercial vehicles

Springdale bulky-waste pickupResidents, up to 8 cubic yards twice a year or 16 once (§ 102-6(b))Run by Public Works for residents

Every do-it-yourself trip is a secured load too: Arkansas law says no vehicle may be driven on a highway unless it is loaded so nothing can drop, sift, leak or escape (Ark. Code § 27-35-110(a)), and sand, gravel or rock in an open bed must be securely covered (§ 27-35-110(c)). Add the drive, the gate hours and the trips, and past a handful of pickup loads one roll-off usually wins on money and on weekends.

City rules that can add to a job

None of these change our flat rate, but they can add time or cost to a job. A Bentonville street spot is a right-of-way permit question (§ 50-721), with 5 business days for review; check the City's current fee when you apply. In Rogers, a dumpster in a public parking space or right-of-way needs the ROW Use Permit, with a site plan. In Centerton, a demolition permit carries its own fee and cleanup deposit and requires a 20-yard minimum dumpster on site (§ 11.20.03(F)); check the City's current fees. And in towns where the code ties hauling to a City contract or licence, such as Springdale (§ 102-2(2)) or Siloam Springs (§ 82-41(c)(4)), we check the City's rules before booking.

One more on bigger jobs. In Arkansas, the owner or operator of any demolition of a facility must give the Division of Environmental Quality written notice at least ten working days before demolition begins, even if no asbestos is present (20 CAR § 860-201(a)), and the rule charges a fee for the notice. The asbestos rule's definition of a facility excludes residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units (§ 860-104(32)(A)), but disposal rules can still apply to a home, so ask before anything suspect goes in the box.

Dumpster or junk removal, and getting a quote

For anything beyond a couple of pickup loads, a container you load yourself is usually the better value, because you are paying for the box rather than the labor. For a single sofa, mattress or appliance, or a cleanout with nobody to lift, our junk removal service may suit you better: our crew handles all the loading, hauling and disposal, priced on volume and labor time. Call (479) 364-6745 — the phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In most areas around Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas we offer same-day or next-day delivery when availability allows; call early for the best chance of same-day service.

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Bentonville?

Dumpster rental prices typically range from $350 to $750, depending on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. We offer flat-rate pricing with delivery, pickup and disposal included, and no hidden fees. Call for a flat quote.

What is included in a flat rate?

Delivery and pickup, disposal up to your included weight allowance, and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. Going over the weight allowance, keeping the box longer, or extra pickups and swap-outs are what can add to it.

Are there fuel or environmental fees?

No. Our quotes carry no hidden fuel surcharges or environmental fees. What we quote is what you pay, unless the job changes, such as going over the weight allowance or adding days.

Does it cost more outside Bentonville?

Delivery location is part of the quote, so the longer runs can cost a little more: Siloam Springs and Prairie Grove are approx. 33 road miles from our yard and Lincoln approx. 41. Local hauling rules also change from town to town.
